PUPS ON SUPS SPRING LAUNCH 2019 - 2020!
Wow what a fabulous day on the water for our Pups on Sups Spring Launch. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and I’m pretty impressed that only one person fell in…not mentioning any names!
We had so many first time stand up paddle boarders with dogs on the water! It was great to see how much fun everyone was having and to see some of our regulars after a long, long winter!!
I have so many people to thank for helping out! A lot of work goes into putting these gigs together and while I always aim to keep things as simple as possible it wouldn’t happen without the support of our awesome crew!

Our Volunteers Tim Mulford, Kelly Flaherty, Brendon Flaherty , Shaniah Flaherty , Rod Gilchrist and Lisa Ikin rolled up their sleeves and gave up their time to ensure our event ran smoothly. I'm blessed to have such amazing support. Brendon spent his birthday cooking sausages – without a lie, it was the best snag I’ve ever had!!! Also thank you to everyone who brought bedding down for the Roleystone Vet Hospital!
We love what we do and it’s fun but there is a serious message that we need to continue to get out there for the welfare of animals. They are the most vulnerable creatures in our world and we need to protect them. Even if you don’t have a pet there are many ways to be involved either as a volunteer for a rescue group, fostering, donations and reporting animals under stress to relevant authorities. Just being kind and thoughtful goes a long way.

Spring has definitely sprung! The smell of wisteria is in the air and I think the surf is up too!!
